NATO chief seeks costs on China over Russia support

NATO's chief called Monday for China to face consequences if it keeps up support to Russia as he trumpeted a sharp increase in allies' defense spending since the invasion of Ukraine.

Stoltenberg: It’s official – Sweden is now the 32nd member of NATO

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced today that Sweden has officially become the 32nd member of the Alliance. "It's official - Sweden is now the 32nd member of NATO, taking its rightful place at our table," Stoltenberg wrote on the X social network.
He added that Sweden's accession "makes NATO stronger, and Sweden safer and the whole Alliance more secure."

Stoltenberg to visit Belgrade during November 19-22 trip to region

BRUSSELS - NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will be visiting the Western Balkans from November 19 through 22 and travel to Belgrade on Tuesday, November 21, NATO announced on Friday.

On Sunday, Stoltenberg will go to Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he will have a working dinner with the members of the country's Presidency.
