A 31-year-old man was sentenced to six months in prison by a court in Thessaloniki for breaching personal data, as he tried to change the access code to his 65-year-old neighbor's online tax details.

A man who raped his 12-year-old niece for four years has been caught thanks to the girl's teachers, while the man's family failed to file a criminal complaint. 

The rape and murder of an eight-year-old girl has sparked outcry in India, with human rights activists demanding justice for the victim. 

The other day, a horrible rape incident occurred in Ankara. A 37-year-old mother of two was raped by a damned bus driver. The victim, identified only as S., is an English teacher at a private school. She took a privately-run bus at 11:30 p.m. from outside a shopping mall. This was the only thing she did. Like everyone else, she took public transport to travel from once place to another. 

A 17-year-old high school student was in a coma at an intenstive care unit at the Drama hospital in northern Greece, after allegedly being gang raped by three men on Monday, state news agency ANA-MPA reported on Thursday.

The three suspects, aged 18, 23 and 25, were arrested and faced a prosecutor on Wednesday.

India's top court said on Dec. 21 that it had no power to detain the youngest of the men convicted of the 2012 gang rape of a woman on a bus in New Delhi in a case that shocked the nation, a day after he was released after three years in custody. 

Prayers were said at churches across India on March 15 for an elderly nun who was gang-raped at a convent in an attack that has intensified anger over sexual violence and fuelled fears among beleaguered Christians.
