President Erdoğan unveils economic reform package

We will achieve our goals by working day and night to make Turkey one of the world's top 10 economies, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has said, unveiling the economic reform package in Istanbul on March 12. 

Erdoğan also said Turkey is focusing on public finance, inflation, financial sector, current account deficit, and employment currently.

Turkey plans to welcome 75 million tourists in 2023, turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said.

"We will continue to work to increase our country's share in the world tourism. Our goal is to welcome 75 million tourists in 2023, " the Turkish head of state wrote in a tweet on the occasion of International Tourism Day, which is celebrated on September 27th.

Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Şimşek's recent tweet on the size of Turkey's economy blatantly "trolls" those who are closest to him. Following his tweet, which referred to the country's purchasing power parity (PPP), Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım joined the chorus of those proclaiming that "we have attained our 2023 goals."
