BELGRADE - Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) leader Sanda Raskovic Ivic said on Friday that she intends to run in the 2017 presidential elections.

"All those who take upon themselves the burden of being the president of a party must also be prepared to run the presidential race, and I am ready," Raskovic Ivic told the N1 television.

Daily: Russia cuts gas deliveries over unpaid debt

BELGRADE -- Russian President Vladimir Putin has decided to cut gas deliveries to Serbia by 28 percent, writes the Belgrade-based daily Danas.

BELGRADE - Vojislav Kostunica, the founder and long-time president of the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS), has left the party, which he said has relinquished its original principles and the policy of neutrality under its new leadership.

Kostunica accused the newly elected leadership of the Democratic Party of Serbia, DSS, of having abandoned the idea of Serbia's neutrality, which he said meant that Serbia should not join the EU under any circumstances.
