Road authorities have scheduled traffic restrictions this Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. along Vouliagmenis Avenue in southern Athens to facilitate a road race in the area.
Settling of scores with two Turkish nationals dead in Glyfada – “They were shooting everything, not caring where the bullets landed,” says a resident
Shots were fired today (09/12) inside a store in Glyfada, resulting in two fatalities. According to initial reports, there is also one injured person, who has been transferred to the Asclepiio Hospital in Voula.
Two dead, one injured in shooting in Glyfada
Two people were killed and one was injured in a shooting incident in the southern Athens suburb of Glyfada on Monday morning.
The incident occurred after 10 a.m. outside an OPAP gaming store located at the intersection of Mikras Asias and Lefkosias streets. A witness told the ERT public broadcaster that they heard approximately 30 gunshots during the incident.

A 14-year-old boy was hit by a tram on Monday afternoon in Glyfada, southern Athens, sustaining minor injuries.
The accident reportedly occurred around 4.30 p.m. as the teen tried to cross to tracks while the train was in motion.
