A 'red notice' has been issued by Interpol to alert countries around the world that former Territorial Defence fighter Dusan Spasojevic, who has both Serbian and Bosnian citizenship, is wanted in Bosnia and Herzegovina for war crimes against civilians.

Turkey condemned the Syrian regime parliament over a resolution recognizing the 1915 incidents in Ottoman era as so-called "genocide".

"Syrian Regime Parliament's resolution today (Feb. 13) recognizing the incidents of 1915 as so-called genocide provides a grim example in itself," a written statement by Foreign Ministry spokesman Hami Aksoy said.

The Bosnian state court told BIRN that 47 people accused of committing crimes during the 1992-95 war are being sought for arrest, 25 of whom are outside the country.

Twenty-four of those who are wanted have Serbian citizenship, or dual citizenship of Serbia and Bosnia, according to prosecutors.

The retrial of Sretko Pavic opened on Tuesday at the appeals chamber of the Bosnian state court after the first-instance verdict sentencing him to 13 years in prison for crimes against humanity was quashed.

The Bosnian state prosecution on Thursday charged Mile Ujic, the former deputy commander of Rogatica Brigade of the Bosnian Serb Army, with committing crimes against humanity in the Rogatica area in 1992 and 1993.

The appeals chamber of the Bosnian state court has confirmed the verdict sentencing Mico Jurisic to 11 years in prison for wartime crimes including involvement in several murders in the Prijedor area in 1992.

He was found guilty of participating in the murders of two Bosniaks in the village of Carakovo, as well as the killings of two others.

The first year of the trial in Belgrade for the abduction and killing of 20 passengers from a train at Strpci station in Bosnia and Herzegovina during the war in 1993 has heard testimony from relatives of the victims, other passengers, policemen, Bosnian Serb Army soldiers and the defendants themselves, as a fuller picture of the crime more than 26 years ago began to emerge.

The Bosnian state prosecution issued a series of indictments on Tuesday charging wartime former members of the Bosnian Army, the Bosnian Serb Army, the Croatian Defence Council and Serb-led Territorial Defence and reservist police forces with a variety of crimes.

The Bosnian Prosecution on Friday appealed the verdict acquitting Ahmet Sejdic of war crimes in Gorazde and Rudo in 1992 to 1993, while the defence called for the dismissal of the appeal.

The Balkan Investigative Reporting Network on Wednesday published its updated and improved War Crimes Verdicts Map, enabling users to search rulings in cases from courts across the former Yugoslavia and from the UN tribunal in The Hague.
