Scientists Reveal Black Sea's Underwater Treasures
Members of three international field expeditions that explored the Black Sea between 2015 and 2017 presented the results of their work on Tuesday in the Black Sea port of Burgas.
The Black Sea MAP project, one of the largest maritime archaeological projects ever, revealed 60 well-preserved shipwrecks that illustrate the history of more than two millennia of seafaring.

Accident in Bosporus! Russian ship sinks Turkish Coast Guard vessel! (VIDEO)
The video of an accident that took place on August 17th 2016 has gone viral, with some delay indeed. In the video that was taken by the sailors of a Russian Navy ship, a freighter can be seen sailing at Bosporus. A Turkish Coast Guard high-speed vessel approaches very close to the ship’s bow for no apparent reason.
It didn’t take long for the accident to happen.
Jump of 20 pct in prices of dry-bulkers
The prices of the most popular dry-bulk carriers, those in the Capesize and Panamax categories, have posted an increase of 20 percent within just one month, which according to shipbrokers Intermodal is an impressive hike. This concerns modern ships that traditionally concentrate the bulk of demand - particularly among Greek shipowners.

Greeks buy 26 ships in October
Greek shipowners returned to the buying market in October as they acquired a total of 26 vessels, against seven in September and 10 in October 2015, data by Golden Destiny shipbrokers showed.

Not a single new-build order placed by Greece's shipowners in March
Greek shipowners are now fully abstaining from ordering new vessels. Last month not a single order was placed by Greek shippers with international shipyards, a first since early 2009, when the global maritime trade experienced its worst ever crisis.

Tetrahedron means four triangular surfaces in Greek, and is the name of a new prototype super yacht that can fly! The luxurious sea vessel that looks as if it was plucked right out of the future was designed to essentially fly over the sea surface, according to its designer, Jonathan Scwinge.

Bulgarian Trade Union to Join UK's CWU Convoy with Aid for Refugees in Turkey
