 It will be mostly sunny today. Rain is not expected. The wind from northwest will increase, moderate to strong in the Danube Plain. The morning will feel cool. The daily temperatures will rise slightly reaching highs of 23°C to 28°C.

Clouds will develop today with rains and thunders in many places in the afternoon, according to the  National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH), quoted by FOCUS News Agency.

Today the weather will be mostly sunny. Cloudiness will develop around noon and in the afternoon, but short rains are expected only in some mountain areas.

There will be light southwestern wind.

Maximum temperatures will stand at between 22° and 27°, according to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology.

Maximum air temperatures in the country are expected at between 14 and 19 degrees Celsius.

Sea water temperatures are expected at between 9 and 11 degrees Celsius.

Code Yellow has been issued throughout Bulgaria due to the high temperatures expected to range between 33 C and 38 C, Thursday.

The thermometers in Sofia will show 34 C, the National Institute for Meteorology and Hydrology reports.

Weather in the mountains will be sunny and warm with maximum temperatures of 27 C at 1200 m, and at 2000 – about 21 C.

The heatwave over Bulgaria will last till the weekend when a cold front would cool off the air, reports the National Institute for Meteorology and Hydrology. 

The cold snap will be brief, but temperatures will drop by around 10 degrees. Next Monday the heat will return.

The National Weather Administration (ANM) on Monday issued a weather advisory for atmospheric instability valid starting Tuesday morning all over Romania.
