Minister urges water saving as Istanbul faces drought

The water levels in Istanbul’s dams are lowest of the past decades with threatening the city with a water cuts in the summer. Institute: Water in Belgrade is safe to drink

BELGRADE - Water supplied by the Belgrade Waterworks is of satisfying quality, safe to drink and as good as it was before the floods, Director of the City Institute of Public Health Slobodan Tosovic has told Tanjug.

Water is being inspected at pumping stations, storage tanks, terminal points, but not all samples are being taken at all sites on the same day, Tosovic said on Tuesday.
