Madame Tussauds opens museum in Dubai
London's renowned waxwork museum Madame Tussauds opened this week its first outpost in the Arab world in Dubai, which hopes to attract millions of tourists to Expo 2020.

Madame Tussauds to open in Istanbul
The world's most famous wax museum, Madame Tussauds, is set to open a branch on Istanbul's İstiklal Avenue on Nov. 28.
At a press conference before the official opening, Sarper Hilmi Suner, the General Director of Legoland Discovery Center and Madame Tussauds in Istanbul, said the museum featured wax figures with a history going back 250 years.

Artist create life-size sculptures of movie characters (vid)
Peruvian sculptor Walter Huaman has created many life-size sculptures of famous movie characters from Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger to Star Wars’ Yoda and Darth Vader, which resemble those seen in Madame Tussauds’ museum.
The difference is, though, that he is using latex instead of wax.

A pleasant surprise awaited Londoners visiting Madame Tussaud’s famous wax museum. The 67 year-old “Terminator”, Arnold Swarzenegger pretended he was his own wax figure and surprised everyone trying to take pictures with him. With the help of a bit of professional make-up, the famous actor promoted his After School All-Stars project which seeks to help poor children everywhere.
