Yellow code for strong wind is in force for 13 regions of the country today, according to a reference on the NIMH website.

These are Vidin, Montana, Vratsa, Pleven, Lovech, Gabrovo, Veliko Tarnovo, Ruse, Sliven, Stara Zagora, Plovdiv, Pazardzhik and Kardzhali. In these areas will blow temporarily strong wind from west-northwest up to 20-22 m /s.

On Friday there will be sun in the morning. In the afternoon there will be a temporary increase of clouds with occasional showers in Central Bulgaria and the Balkan range. Maximum temperatures 30°-35° C, for Sofia 30° C.

Today it will be mostly sunny. Cumulus clouds will develop in the afternoon clouds but only in some places it will rain lightly. It will blow to a moderate west-southwest wind. Daily temperatures will rise and the maximum will be between 24 ° and 29 °, in Sofia around 25 °, according to the NIMH forecast.  

Today before noon it will be mostly sunny. In the afternoon, cumulus clouds will develop and in some places in the mountainous areas it will rain for a short time. A light northwest wind will continue to blow and will be oriented from south-southwest until the evening.

A cold front will pass through the country today. From west to east clouds will increase and thicken, with rain, which in the evening will turn to snow in western Bulgaria; thunderstorms are also possible. Moderate to strong northwest winds will bring cold air and temperatures will drop.

Today, the southwest wind will pick up, moderate across the country to strong and gusty in the northern mountain areas.

Today there will be variable cloudiness, mostly considerable, with formation of cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds. Isolated rain showers are possible in central Bulgaria in the morning; in the afternoon, mainly in the mountainous areas of eastern and southern Bulgaria, thunder showers expected, heavy in some places.

With mostly moderate northwest winds, a cold front is passing through the country that will cause unstable air mass. Mainly around noon and in the afternoon cloud will increase, some showers and thunder expected.
