Two Reported Victims of the Floods in Dobrich
At least two are the victims of the floods in the town of Dobrich, north eastern Bulgaria, reports Nova TV national channel.
One of the victims is a woman, found near a high school in the town, while the other is a man, who reportedly drowned in his home.
Dobrich Mayor Detelina Nikolova declared a state of emergency and asked for aid from the state authorities.

Ten Dead in Bulgaria Floods
Many residents had to be rescued as cars were swept away and hundreds were left without electricity or food after heavy rains caused a flood wave in the Black Sea resort city of Varna late on Thursday.
“The tragedy is enormous,” the mayor of Varna, Ivan Portnih, told media.

Veliko Tarnovo Declares State of Emergency
Bulgarian town of Veliko Tarnovo declared a state of emergency as the Yantra river overflowed and flooded homes, businesses, roads and public buildings in the area.
The towns Kilifarevo, Dryanovo and the village of Tserova Koria are also partly flooded by Yantra and its tributaries, reports Dnevnik.bg.

Bulgaria to Hold Day of Mourning for the Flood Victims in Varna
Bulgaria's Council of Ministers has declared June 23 a national day of mourning for the victims of the floods in the Black Sea city of Varna.
The Bulgarian government has expressed condolences to the relatives of the victims.
National flags at all public institutions will fly at half-mast.

Ten people, including a child, are confirmed dead in Bulgaria's Black Sea city of Varna, the head of the regional police Nikolai Kalchev told bTV national channel.
As previously reported, on Thursday afternoon the city was hit by severe rains and thunderstorms, which caused floods, death and damages. The district of Asparuhovo was hit by a flash flood from the ridge above the area.

According to initial report, the child either drowned, or was killed by a lightning.
