For August 10 (Tuesday), orange and yellow codes for dangerous hot weather are in force throughout the country.

The atmospheric pressure will slowly decrease and will be slightly lower than the average for July. Today it will be sunny and hot again. In the afternoon, cumulus clouds will develop, but only in isolated places, mainly in the mountainous areas, it will rain and thunder for a short time. The wind will be light, in the eastern regions to moderate northeast wind.

For today in most of Bulgaria an orange code is valid for dangerous heat with temperatures reaching and exceeding 40 degrees C. It will be a little less hot near the Black Sea coast, as well as in the regions of Pernik and Sofia, and in Smolyan.

A yellow warning code has been issued for these regions.

Maximum temperatures today will be between 36 and 41 degrees C.

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) announced a yellow warning code for high temperatures throughout the country today.

The weather will be hot, with maximum temperatures between 32 and 39 degrees in places.

In the afternoon and evening with variable clouds in the northern, western, central and southwestern regions, in some places short-term rain or showers with thunder.

The weather in Bulgaria on Friday will be sunny. In the eastern half of the country there will be moderate winds from north-northeast. Temperatures will rise and daytime highs will be between 27 °C and 32 °C.

Yellow code for strong wind is in force for 13 regions of the country today, according to a reference on the NIMH website.

These are Vidin, Montana, Vratsa, Pleven, Lovech, Gabrovo, Veliko Tarnovo, Ruse, Sliven, Stara Zagora, Plovdiv, Pazardzhik and Kardzhali. In these areas will blow temporarily strong wind from west-northwest up to 20-22 m /s.

The weather remains warm in Bucharest, on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, hot during the afternoons, with thermal maximums of 36 degrees Celsius, but there will also be torrential rains, electric discharges and short-term wind intensifications, according to the special forecast issued by the National Meteorological Administration (ANM).

The heat continues - both on Wednesday and Thursday afternoon thermometers will fluctuate between 33 and 38 degrees almost all over the country. Exceptions are the areas around the Black Sea coast, where the temperatures will be two or three less. A yellow code for dangerous hot weather is in force for 25 districts.

It will be sunny on Tuesday. In the afternoon there will be temporary increases in cloudiness and in some places in the eastern regions of the country and the mountains there will be short-term rain.

A light to moderate east wind will blow. It will be hot, with maximum temperatures between 32 and 37 degrees C, according to NIMH.
