Users of Facebook's popular messaging platform, Messenger, face a problem with messaging and real-time communication. That's what Facebook announced on its official website.

According to the downdetector, the platform has stopped working and faces problems unknown to date.

Facebook will soon allow you to delete messages that you've already sent via its Messenger app, according to the Business Insider. 

A Moscow court on April 13 ruled to block the popular messaging app Telegram in Russia, after it refused to give state security services access to private conversations.

Facebook today announced a new version of its Messenger chat app designed for children ages six to 12. Called Messenger Kids, the new app does not require a Facebook account — due to federal law, users under the age of 13 cannot legally sign up for Facebook.

Facebook Inc said it is adding a new feature to its messaging app that allows friends to send and receive money through it.

Users can tap or click a dollar icon in a new chat window to send money to their friends, after they link a Visa or MasterCard debit card issued by a U.S. bank to their accounts.
