Employment Service to pay out EUR 323.2m in coronacrisis aid by December
Ljubljana – The Employment Service, a key institution in the execution of the coronacrisis stimulus measures, will have paid out a total of EUR 323.2 million in support by the end of November.

PM Orban: Number of citizens with employment agreements down by 14,000 in May against same month of 2019
Prime Minister Ludovic Orban on Tuesday stated that the number of persons with employment agreements dropped by 14,000 in May 2020 compared with the same period last year. "Very many analysts, political leaders from the Opposition predicted the apocalypse in the employment field: a scary unemployment. We have even been accused of not taking measures for it.
Companies feeling the pinch, sticking to teleworking
Many enterprises face the risk of being strapped for cash by the end of the year unless they increase their revenues in the coming months or receive some form of financing, according to a survey of 100 companies in 15 sectors conducted by Endeavor Greece.

The government will grant up to 30pct of the gross salary to companies that will hire people looking for work, Prime minister Ludovic Orban announced on Wednesday evening. "We will give up to 30pct of the gross salary to companies that will hire jobseekers, that will provide jobs to Romanian citizens who are looking for a job, for a period of at least three months.
