March 2023 marks the 80th anniversary of the rescue of Bulgarian Jews in the old borders of the Kingdom of Bulgaria from the Nazi death camps. The Bulgarian Orthodox Church, Exarch Stefan, Patriarch Kirill, public figures, individual politicians such as Dimitar Peshev, the protests of our civil society had an active role in it.

Ljubljana gets more stumbling stones for Holocaust victims
Ljubljana – Another seven stumbling stones or Stolpersteine will be laid in Ljubljana on Thursday to honour the memory of the city’s Jewish citizens who were torn from their homes during WWII and taken to concentration camps in Europe. The opening of an exhibition on the story of a Ljubljana Jewish family will follow the stone-laying ceremony.
Vucic "doesn't know" about SNS symbols at death camp site
Speaking in Davos on Friday, the Serbian president said he "did not know what this was about" and had "not seen it."
"If anyone has done anything wrong, we will apologize," Vucic said.
Previously, the daily Danas said that the SNS opened its office at the site of the Staro Sajmiste (Old Fairgrounds) concentration camp, and published a photo of it on the front page.
CIA suspected Adolf Hitler was alive in Colombia until at least the 1950s after surviving WWII
The US investigated whether Hitler was alive in South America as late as 1955, newly-declassified CIA documents reveal.
The official files show a former SS soldier told spies he regularly met with the Nazi leader in Colombia.
It goes on to suggest that Hitler, who would have been aged 66, worked as a shipping company employee before fleeing to Argentina.
