The First Case of a Coronavirus in Taiwan
Taiwan announced today that it has registered the first case of a new coronavirus, according to BGNES.
The disease was diagnosed in a 55-year-old Taiwanese woman who returned from the Chinese city of Wuhan yesterday, where the disease was first detected in December.

Jankovic ousted in Wuhan
WUHAN - Serbia's Jelena Jankovic has been ousted from the WTA tennis tournament in Wuhan, China, after losing to Czech Barbora Strycova 1-6, 6-4, 7-5 in the round of last 16 early Thursday.
Strycova came from a set behind to win the match after nearly two and a half hours of play.
The prize money in Wuhan is 2,589,000 dollars.

Jankovic overcomes Muguruza to advance to Wuhan last 16
WUHAN - Serbia's Jelena Jankovic is through to the last 16 of the WTA tennis tournament in Wuhan, China, after beating world number 3 Garbine Muguruza of Spain 6-4, 7-6 (7-2) in Round 2 on Tuesday.
Jankovic won after 102 minutes of play and is now 2-3 head-to-head against Muguruza.

WUHAN - Serbia's Jelena Jankovic has got off to a successful start at the WTA tennis tournament in Wuhan, China, after beating Australian Daria Gavrilova 6-2, 6-2 in the opening round.
