The Space Age | Athens | To September 10
Seventy years after the Soviet Union sent Sputnik, the first artificial Earth satellite, into orbit and the beginning of the Space Age, the Romantso venue in central Athens is launching "The Space Age: Electric and Electronic Art in Greece 1957-1989," an exhibition that will run through September 9.

Galaxy | Athens | November 3-27
A new work by Greek choreographer Andonis Foniadakis goes on stage at the Rex Theater's Kotopouli Stage in downtown Athens for a series of shows running November 3-27. Jointly produced by the Greek National Ballet and the Greek National Theater, "Galaxy" explores the universe's creation and evolution through movement and music penned by Gyorgy Ligeti, Iannis Xenakis and Julien Tarride.
