‘Voluntary archaeologists’ trace history in Ankara
Volunteer students in the capital Ankara's Çubuk district are carrying out excavation works to unearth the secrets of the historic Melikşah Bath, a Roman-era site famed for its medical practices.
Known to be around 2,000 years old, the bath once served as a health and healing center in the Melikşah neighborhood.

Ali Koç reelected as Fenerbahçe president
Businessman Ali Koç was reelected as the president of Fenerbahçe following an election held at the club's ordinary general assembly on June 9.
Koç, who has held the presidency since 2018, faced off against Aziz Yıldırım, the former president who led the club from 1998 to 2018.

Turkish House in New York attacked
The Turkish House building in New York, which hosts the Permanent Mission of Türkiye to the United Nations and the Consulate General, came under attack on May 22, as an unknown assailant carrying an iron stick smashed multiple windows of the building.
The attack was reported at around 3:15 a.m. on the East Side of Manhattan, according to the New York Police Department.

Parents protest against quake risk in front of risky school building
Parents of students at an elementary school in the Kartal district in Istanbul protested against the earthquake retrofitting of their school, claiming that the building is still not strong enough to withstand a possible earthquake.
Türkiye to host first Int’l Space Convention
International Space Convention, one of the world's most prestigious space events, will be held for the first time in Türkiye, with the key players of the industry gathering in the northwestern province of Bursa.

In two years - a flight to the Moon
Namely, the production of a spacecraft that Turkey will send to the moon in two years is in progress, i.e. it is in the manufacturing phase.
President Yıldırım stated that the spacecraft that will go to the Moon is in the manufacturing phase and that they have given the task of developing the spacecraft to the TUBITAK Space Institute.
