Bulgaria Defeats Croatia 3-2 in Women's Volleyball World Grand Prix
The Bulgarian women's national volleyball team achieved a victory in the opening round of Group 2's Pool M of the FIVB World Grand Prix.
Bulgaria defeated Croatia 3-2 (25-18, 23-25, 21-25, 25-22, 15-12) on Friday and at present occupies the first place in Pool M.
Bulgaria's Supreme Judicial Council to Elect Sofia City Court Chair
The Bulgarian Supreme Judicial Council (VSS) will elect on Wednesday the chair of Sofia City Court (SGS) as the titular position has been vacant since February.
The sole candidate to run for the position is the judge from SGS Kaloyan Topalov, daily Dnevnik reports.
Sofia City Court Deputy Chair Resigns
Bogdana Zhelyavska, Deputy Chair of the Sofia City Court, has resigned.
The motives for the resignation were not disclosed by the Sofia City Court administration.
Zhelyavska faces disciplinary action.
She is the third Deputy Chair of the Sofia City Court to resign after the Supreme Judicial Council (VSS) removed Vladimira Yaneva from the post of Sofia City Court Chair.

Deputy Chair of Sofia City Court Resigns
Chairman of Bulgaria's Supreme Court of Cassation (VKS) Lozan Panov announced that one of the deputy chairs of Sofia City Court (SGS) - judge Ivo Dachev resigned on Wednesday.
Although both Panov and Justice Minister Hristo Ivanov have demanded the immediate resignation of SGS's management en bloc, this has not happened to date, Darik radio reports.

Bulgaria's Justice Minister Demands Dismissal of Suspended Sofia City Court Head
Justice Minister Hristo Ivanov stated Friday that he demands that the temporarily suspended Chair of the Sofia City Court, Vladimira Yaneva be officially fired.
Ivanov introduced a second proposal for a disciplinary action against Yaneva.
She submitted her resignation as a Chair of the Sofia City Court on February 24.
Vladimira Yaneva Resigns as Sofia City Court Chair
Vladimira Yaneva has resigned from the post of Chair of the Sofia City Court.
She keeps the post of a judge.
The resignation was submitted to the Supreme Judicial Council (VSS) at the end of the working day on Monday, according to the press office of the court.

Bulgaria's Supreme Judicial Council (VSS) is to determine on Thursday next week who will take over as interim head of the Sofia City Court, Yasen Todorov, from the Ethics Committee at the VSS, has said.
Todorov's interview with public broadcaster BNT followed a VSS step to remove the court's chairperson Vladimira Yaneva from office.
