Talks on sale of Yapı Kredi Bankası shares terminated
Koç Holding has announced that discussions for the sale of shares in its banking unit Yapı Kredi Bankası have been terminated.
Preliminary discussions were ongoing regarding the sale of our shares in our subsidiary Yapi ve Kredi Bankası, the Turkish conglomerate said in a filing with Borsa Istanbul.
Turkish banking industry on foreign investors’ radar
After Goldman Sachs increases its earning per share (EPS) estimates for the Turkish banks in its coverage earlier this month, this time Bank of America (BofA) lifted its EPS for Turkish lenders.
"We continue to have a positive view on Turkish private banks," BofA said in a report released on Feb. 19.
IFC provides $530 mln financing for quake recovery
The International Finance Corporation (IFC) has announced a financing package of up to $530 million to support thousands of micro and smaller businesses in Turkish provinces devastated by February earthquakes and boost recovery efforts.

Photography exhibition by former Finnish president
Istanbul's Yapı Kredi Bomontiada displays an exhibition, titled 'Asia from West to East,' which consists of photographs taken by former president of Finland, C.G. Mannerheim, during his journey from Central Asia to China in the early 1900s. The exhibition can be seen through Feb 6.

Exhibition showcases Istanbul’s heritage along with contemporary artworks
A new joint exhibition by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and Yapı Kredi Culture and Arts Publishing, titled "This Place," has opened at Yapıkredi Arts and Culture Center.
Speaking at the opening during the press conference, Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, said the exhibition stands as a reminder of Istanbul's valuable assets such as environment and cultural heritage.
‘Fairy Tale’ exhibition by Murat Germen now open
Yapı Kredi Bomontiada hosts Murat Germen's solo exhibition "Fairy Tale," organized simultaneously physically and virtually in collaboration with Cue Art Space and Artcrowdistanbul Online Gallery.
The exhibition can be visited between May 27 and June 16. The works can also be watched online on Artcrowdistanbul's digital platform until Aug 30.
