Turkish contractors undertake $12 billion worth of projects abroad
Turkish contractors have undertaken a total of $11.8 billion worth of projects abroad in the first nine months of 2024.
Limak listed among top 50 international contactors
A total of 43 Turkish companies entered the prestigious ENR Top 250 International Contractors list this year, with Limak ranking 48th.
Limak climbed two spots from the previous year's list.
Renaissance dropped from 38th in 2023 to 53rd this year, while Enka fell from 53rd to 54th.

40 Turkish firms among world’s top 250 contractors
A total of 40 Turkish companies have made it to ENG's prestigious Top 250 International Contractors List this year.
Türkiye retained its second place in terms of the number of companies entered on the list after China which has 81 companies. The U.S. came third with 39 contractors.

Turkish contractors turning to Balkan countries
Turkish contractors are focusing more on the markets in the Balkan nations amid the war between Russia and Ukraine, projects in Romania in particular, business daily Dünya has reported.
Recently, Turkish companies won a tender worth 266 million euros to build a section of a highway in Romania.

42 Turkish contractors in top 250 list
Some 42 Turkish companies entered ENR's (Engineering News Record) 2022 Top 250 International Contractors list, up from 40 firms that made it on to the previous list.
The top 10 Turkish companies in the list are Rönenans, Limak, Yapı Merkezi, Enka, Ant Yapı, Tekfen, Onur Taahhüt, Esta inşaat, Alarko and TAV.

Turkish contractors rank second in world for foreign projects for 10th straight year
Turkey ranked in second place after China for the number of contracting companies building the largest volume of projects across the world outside their home countries for the 10th year in a row, according to the latest list of the world's "top 250 contractors" by the magazine Engineering News Record (ENR).

4,000 people to work in construction of 1915 Çanakkale Bridge: Consortium member
More than 4,000 people will be employed to work in the construction of the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge, a leading member of the consortium building the bridge has said.
The bridge is expected to be the longest suspension bridge in the world by its length of main span with 2,023 meters.

A Turkish-Korean consortium has been invited to sign a contract after winning the tender of the planned 1915 Çanakkale Bridge to be built over the Dardanelles Strait, a top Turkish official said Feb. 11.
First road tunnel under Istanbul's Bosphorus opens
The Eurasia Tunnel, the first ever road tunnel underneath the Bosphorus Strait in Istanbul, opened on Dec. 20 in an official ceremony with the attendance of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım.
The tunnel is slated to open to service early on Dec. 21 for a 15 Turkish Lira ($4.2) entrance fee until the beginning of 2017.
