Two municipal administrators in Ankara suspended

Two senior officials from the Ankara Municipality have been temporarily suspended amid an investigation into payments for a public concert.

The suspensions include Haluk Erdemir, head of the municipality's Cultural and Social Affairs Department, and Hacı Ali Bozkurt, the unit's coordinator. Both will remain suspended until the probe concludes.

Pakistan embassy hosts event to mark Türkiye's 100th anniversary

Ankara Int’l Festival kicks off

Organized by the World Mass Media Research Foundation with the support of the Culture and Tourism Ministry, the 32nd Ankara International Film Festival kicked off on the night of Nov. 4 at a ceremony held at CerModern Conference Hall.

Ankara, UN ink pact to help women, children

Turkey's capital and the U.N. Population Fund (UNFPA) inked a cooperation protocol to support women, children and young adults.

Ankara Mayor Mansur Yavaş and UNFPA Turkey representative Hassan Mohtashami signed the protocol to support health and protection services for women, children and young adults with special needs, said a statement by the mayor's office.
