Japanese company Yazaki opens factory in western Serbia
Japan's Yazaki company on Tuesday opened a factory in the Sabac industrial zone, in western Serbia.
The 30,000 sq-meter plant will produce cable sets for Daimler trucks, and employ 500 workers, Beta reported.
Yazaki company has agreed to invest nearly EUR 25 million in Serbia, and to hire 1,700 workers in the coming period, while its export target is some EUR 120 million.

Brnabic receives Takahara
BELGRADE - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic on Wednesday held a meeting with Japanese Ambassador Juichi Takahara at which they highlighted the high level of relations between their countries.
Takahara briefed Brnabic on the completion of a Sabac plant of Japanese automotive cables maker Yazaki, which already has a workforce of 300 people.

Yazaki Bulgaria To Invest BGN 45.5 M in Cable Plant Near Dimitrovgrad
The Council of Ministers has approved a draft memorandum of understanding with the investor Yazaki Bulgaria EOOD for the construction of a plant for cable equipment of cars near the village of Krepost in the region of Dimitrovgrad, announced the press centre of the government.
The plant will produce electric installations for Mercedes class A and V cars.

The Turkish company Arkomat, which specialises in the production of wire harnesses for Volkswagen, will open a second production plant in Bulgaria in a month.
Arkomat opened its first factory in Bulgaria in the town of Kazanlak sixteen years ago and now plans to open a second one in the town of Karlovo.
Japan's Yazaki to Open 3rd Plant in Bulgaria
Japanese manufacturer of car cabling systems Yazaki will build a third plant in Bulgaria, according to Sinan Kar, General Manager of Yazaki Bulgaria.
Kar told Capital Daily that the new plant of the company would be located in the central part of the country, adding that the exact location of the unit was yet to be selected.
