German sportswear giant Adidas said on Oct. 24 it was ending its partnership with Kanye West after a series of anti-Semitic outbursts by the controversial rapper.

Recent comments by West - now known formally as Ye - were "unacceptable, hateful and dangerous," Adidas said in a statement.

Kanye West and retail brand Gap announced an end to their partnership on Sept. 15, with the artist now known as Ye saying he plans to open his own stores.

Following weeks of delay and several stadium-filled public listening sessions, Kanye West's "Donda" arrived on Aug. 29 morning.

The two-hour, 27 track-long album features a laundry list of special appearances, including from Jay-Z, The Weeknd, Travis Scott and Lil Baby.
