Over 20 stray dogs found dead in Yozgat
More than 20 dogs were found dead in the Central Anatolian province of Yozgat, prompting local authorities to launch an investigation.
The Yozgat Governor's Office reported that a criminal complaint has been filed with the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

Historical bath to open to tourism

A Turkish prosecutor has seriously been injured by a suspicious gun shot in the head while celebrating her birthday with a group of friends at her home.
The 28-year-old Özlem Salkım, a prosecutor in the Central Anatolian province of Yozgat's Sorgun district, invited a group of friends working for various public institutions in the city to her home for a birthday party.

Whirlwind causes material damage in central Turkey
A whirlwind in Turkey's central Yozgat province caused material damage in three villages on March 23.
The whirlwind, which ripped through the Emirler, Külhüyük, and Akocak villages of the Sorgun district, toppled electricity poles, destroyed trees, and took out roofs.
