Belgrade's International Film Festival Kicks Off
The 46th edition of FEST, under the slogan Come Closer, will take place from February 23 to March 4., featuring 116 premiers and ten cinematic classics.

French-Serbian Film Meetings to begin Thursday
BELGRADE - As part of the 22nd Auteur Film Festival, the French-Serbian Film Meetings will begin at the Yugoslav Film Archive on Thursday, ending on December 3, the Film Center of Serbia announced.
The meetings will feature panels on various topics - promotion of auteur film, co-production, locations, tax facilities and distribution.

Handke, Mikhalkov, Stoltenberg honorary citizens of Belgrade
BELGRADE - Austrian writer and screenwriter Peter Handke, Russian film director Nikita Mikhalkov and Norwegian politician Thorvald Stoltenberg were named honorary citizens of Belgrade on Wednesday.
Their nominations were backed by all groups in the City Assembly.
Nitrate Film Festival begins on Friday
BELGRADE - The 16th Nitrate Film Festival will be held in Belgrade June 6-15 and include around 60 old films from around the world, with half of them dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the beginning of World War One, head of the Yugoslav Film Archive Aleksandar Erdeljanovic has announced.
