Russia Remembers One of Kosovo's Last Partisans
As Europe marks the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II, Russia has honoured one of the last remaning survivors in Kosovo of the Partisan struggle.
The Kremlin has awarded Riste Stanojkovic, a 91-year-old war veteran, with the Commemorative Medal of Honor.

Chetniks Seek NGO Status in Montenegro
The head of the Ravna Gora Movement of Chetniks in Montenegro, Mileta Pavicevic, said that supporters and descendants of the WWII monarchist fighters have filed a request to the Interior Ministry to be officially registered as a non-governmental organisation.

Belgrade freed from Nazi occupation 70 years ago
BELGRADE - Belgrade was liberated from Nazi occupation on October 20 70 years ago, after four years of occupation that resulted in the death of around 60,000 people.
The operation to free the city was conducted jointly by the Yugoslav Partisans and the Soviet Red Army. They fought for each street and building from October 11 to 20.

Commemoration for those who died in Belgrade's liberation
BELGRADE - A commemoration was held on Monday for the Yugoslav Partisan and Red Army troops who died in the battle for Belgrade's liberation from Nazi occupation, which ended in victory on October 20, 1944, 70 years ago.
Minister for War Veteran Affairs Aleksandar Vulin and Belgrade Mayor Sinisa Mali laid wreaths at the cemetery dedicated to Belgrade's liberators.
Chinese Ambassador expects agreement on summit in Belgrade
BELGRADE - Chinese Ambassador to Serbia Li Manchang has voiced the expectation that the prime minister of Serbia and China, Aleksandar Vucic and Li Keqiang respectively, will reach an agreement on holding a summit of China and 16 European countries in Belgrade this year.
