Rosneft Initiates Sale of German Assets Amid Ukraine War
Following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Russian oil giant Rosneft has announced plans to divest its assets in Germany, aiming to conclude the sale by September, according to Germany's economy ministry, as reported by Reuters on Friday.

The footage shows a giant flame engulfing the Rosneft RN-Marine Terminal oil facility in the city of Tuapse in the Krasnodar region.

Germany takes control of Rosneft’s operations

Abramovich anchors superyachts worth $1.2 bln in Türkiye
Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich - sanctioned by the U.K., European Union and Canada - has anchored two more superyachts in Turkish waters, bringing the total count to four.

BP, Equinor exiting stakes in Rosneft
British energy giant BP announced on Feb. 27 that it was pulling its 19.75-percent stake in Rosneft following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
London-based BP has held a 19.75 percent stake in Rosneft since 2013. That stake was valued at $14 billion at the time of the announcement.
