Yunusemre

With the support of the German Archaeological Institute, international documentation work has been initiated in the agora building of the ancient city of Aigai, which dates back 2,700 years in the western province of Manisa.

An animal protection official was attacked for feeding stray animals in the Aegean province of Manisa’s Yunusemre district on Dec. 16.

Artifacts that were unearthed in 1882 by French researcher Michel Armand Clerc in the ancient city of Aigai in the western province of Manisa are currently being displayed at Paris' Louvre Museum. 

A Turkish voter in the Aegean province of Manisa stamped himself in the forehead rather than the ballot paper to protest the elections, in which he said he had no faith.
