Concerts by foreign artists, interrupted by the pandemic, have returned to normal. World-famous names meet with the audience in different parts of Türkiye for concerts throughout the summer, but rising prices around the world make the organization of such big stars very costly.

Endangered imperial eagle shot down in Ankara

An eastern imperial eagle, which was found injured in Bulgaria last year and released into nature after being treated, was found shot dead in Turkey's capital city of Ankara.

Ringed with an electronic tracking system by a Bulgarian team, the bird was found in Ankara's Temeller area by expert biologist Cansu Özcan and the Dev Documentary team researching imperial eagles in Anatolia.

Turkey exports dried apricots to 105 countries

Turkey exported 65,620 tons of dried apricots, produced in the eastern Malatya province, to 105 countries in the last eight months.

A $216 million revenue was generated from the exports of dried apricots which will contribute to both the country's economy and producers, said Ramazan Özcan, the head of the Malatya Commodity Exchange.

Coach firm reintroduces bus attendants after complaints

German bus operator Flixbus has decided to reintroduce attendants on local coach service brand Kamil Koç after having received complaints from consumers.

The German company last year acquired Kamil Koç, which has been on the roads for more than nine decades, and decided to eliminate the bus attendants (muavin) and removed seat numbers.

Locals deploy cat houses for winter

A local neighborhood head has built many cat houses to help the felines survive the winter.

Mehmet Özcan, the head of the Yaşamkent neighborhood in the Black Sea province of Bolu, has put 17 cat houses around to sustain the lives of cats in this cold winter season.

Bolu, housing the famous Kartalkaya ski center, is known for its harsh winter conditions.
