FYROM (Macedonia) Prime Minister Zoran Zaev took a big step Wednesday in resolving a longtime dispute with neighboring Greece over the name Macedonia.
Zaev said his country would change the name of Alexander the Great Airport in the capital, Skopje.

Tsipras, Zaev to discuss name prospects in Davos
Amid rising tensions in both Greece and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia over United Nations-backed talks on the latter's name, Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras is to meet his FYROM counterpart Zoran Zaev in Davos on Wednesday, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum, to determine whether there are grounds for a solution to the contentious issue.

The National Assembly Ratified the Treaty on Friendship, Neighborhood and Cooperation with Macedonia
The National Assembly ratified the Treaty on Friendship, Neighborhood and Cooperation with Macedonia by law.
At first vote, the law was passed unanimously by 182 MPs, while the second was supported by 186 MPs.
The treaty was ratified by the Macedonian Parliament three days ago. It was approved by 61 of 120 MPs.
