THE DOLLI, the iconic hotel located in the Historic Center of Athens and created by the renowned Grecotel hotel group, has been voted the best hotel in Greece and recognized as one of the top hotels in the world at the prestigious 2024 Condé Nast Traveller UK Readers’ Choice Awards.

Piraeus Port Authority (OLP) is in the process of reaching out to Greek and foreign hotel groups for the development of four hotel units that form part of parent company Cosco's investment plans in Piraeus.

Hotel chain Grecotel has completed investments of 42 million euros since the start of this year, focusing on the modern demands of luxury tourism, an area in which it is a dominant force with 32 complexes in select destinations across Greece.

TUI, the world?s largest leisure tourism group, is considering a spin-off of its non-core assets, which have turnover of about three billion euros ($3.33 billion), London?s The Times newspaper reported on Aug. 17.
