Tsvetan Vasilev, the former owner of the Corporate Commercial Bank (CCB), claimed that the bank had financed Delyan Peevski's family with approximately 500 million leva until mid-2013. Vasilev made these statements during a hearing before a temporary parliamentary committee investigating the influence of Petyo Petrov, known as Pepi "The Euro," and Martin Bojanov, nicknamed "The Notary."

In a concerning revelation, the ad hoc committee investigating the activities of Gleb Myshin uncovered that over the past three to four years, a staggering 343 candidates from the Russian Federation seeking Bulgarian citizenship were discovered to have submitted falsified documents.

A forthcoming business delegation from India specializing in high technologies and innovation is scheduled to tour Bulgaria and Romania in mid-March 2024, as reported by the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI).

A memorandum of collaboration was signed recently in the Greek capital by the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EBEA) and the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI).

The arrests were announced by Norway's police on Wednesday and then confirmed by the Bulgarian authorities. 

Both detainees are Norwegian citizens. One arrest took place in Oslo, Norway, while the other was in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria. The arrest in Bulgaria was done on a warrant issued by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Norway.

H.E. Ms. Mariam Aftab, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Pakistan to Bulgaria, and the Deputy Head of Mission Mr. Omer Manzoor Malik met with Tsvetan Simeonov, President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Prosecutor-general Sotir Tsatsarov told media on Tuesday that Nikolay Malinov has been charged with espionage and that a former senior Russian intelligence officer, Leonid Reshetnikov, has been barred from entering Bulgaria.
