Over 10,000 People Were Active during the European Sports Week
Over the course of a week, a series of events were held in Sofia under the motto "Be active, find your sport, choose your sport club". The fifth edition of European Sport Week #BeActive was the largest ever. More than 10,000 people attended the Arena Armeec within the unique sports fair organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Two women claimed the first medals for Bulgaria at the World Wrestling Championship, which is taking place in Las Vegas.
Evelina Georgieva in the 55 kg weight class and Taybe Yusein in the 63 kg weight class won two bronze medals in the women's freestyle.
Bulgaria Finishes 27th at First European Games after Claiming Ten Medals
Bulgaria claimed ten medals and finished 27th in the medal ranking of the First European Games, which took place in Baku between June 12 and 28.
Bulgaria was represented by 122 athletes, who claimed one gold, four silver and five bronze medals.
The only gold medal was claimed by sisters Stefani and Gabriela Stoevi, who won the women's doubles badminton competition on Saturday.
