Two more Republicans ended their White House runs Feb. 10, whittling down the field as the party's remaining candidates and Democrat Hillary Clinton look to blunt the momentum of Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders down south.

Ben Carson has placed first in a recent national Republican presidential primary poll, pushing Donald Trump into second place for the first time since June. 

Carson, a retired neurosurgeon, received 26 percent of the support in the New York Times/ CBS News poll released on Oct. 27 morning. 

Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump stepped into a hornet's nest in the Sept.16 debate as rivals turned their sights on the billionaire, while Carly Fiorina showed she had earned her place on the main stage.

Carly Fiorina, the former Hewlett-Packard executive running for the U.S. Presidency in the 2016 elections, disclosed her income and assets the other day. Fiorina and her husband have a net worth of $59 million, making her one of the wealthiest candidates in the race so far, according to the Wall Street Journal.
