Usain Bolt's sprint world records were never in danger. Then again, even the world's fastest-ever human likely wouldn't have been so quick while balancing a tray with a croissant, a coffee cup and a glass of water through the streets of Paris, and without spilling it everywhere.

Olympics: Italy Made History with Jacobs Winning 100 m Sprint

Marcell Jacobs of Italy is the surprise victor of the fastest track race at the Tokyo Olympics, the men's 100 meter.

Jacobs beat his personal best time and put his star solidly on the map in the blazing fast race.

He was not well-known in the track world before today, making it to the semi-finals of this event in the 2019 World Athletics Championships.

Bolt and Farah's farewell party falls flat

Athletics legends Usain Bolt and Mo Farah experienced some of their greatest moments in their careers at the 2012 Olympics in London but five years on and back in the same stadium, misery replaced joy. 

Bolt, who won the individual 100 and 200m and the 4x100m relay in London in 2012, collapsed to the track injured on Aug. 12 anchoring the Jamaica 4x100 meters relay team.

Usain Bolt was Dethroned in his Last 100m Race

The fastest man on the planet, Usain Bolt, was dethroned in the final 100 meters race in his sports career. In the final of the World Championship in London, the record holder (9.58 seconds) remained third, finishing in 9.95 seconds. The lightning was overtaken by two Americans Christian Colman - 9.94, and Justin Gatlin - 9.92.
