Harvey Weinstein diagnosed with bone marrow cancer
The 72-year-old is serving his sentence while preparing for a retrial scheduled for November 12, after his 2020 conviction was overturned. In that trial, Weinstein had been found guilty of rape, but in April this year, New York’s Court of Appeals annulled the conviction, ruling that he did not receive a fair trial.

Greek teen to donate marrow to Turkish peer
The bone marrow of two young people living in Greece has become a source of hope for a Turkish youth waiting for transplantation in the Mediterranean province of Adana.
The Turkish-Greek borders closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, which has wreaked havoc on the whole world, has been overcome for the transplant.

Vucic promises "revolution in Serbia's hospitals"

Turkish Stem Cell Bank makes first international transplant
The Health Ministry-sponsored Turkey Stem Cell Coordination Center (TÜRKÖK), which brings together bone marrow donors and receivers, conducted its first international cell transplantation on Aug. 4 after a baby receiver in India matched with a Turkish donor, daily Habertürk reported on Oct. 7.

A new stem cell transplantation centre opened on Monday in the St. Marina hospital in Varna, reports the bTV national channel.
It is the most up-to-date in Bulgaria and is expected to partially solve the shortage of such treatment of patients with oncological diseases.
