Serres: They illegally transported 75 litres of tsipouro and 55 litres of wine – Two arrests

A man and a woman were arrested in the Serres region.

During a vehicle inspection, authorities discovered a total of 75 liters of alcoholic distillate (tsipouro) and 55 liters of bulk wine being transported without proper documentation.

The police seized the unmarked containers.

The grape harvest I'm talking about is what we call "sofralık" in Turkish, literally meaning "for the table," for the grapes that are not meant to end in bottles, but to be eaten out of hand as fresh fruit.
