The entire management of Bulgargaz has been replaced following a decision by the Bulgarian Energy Holding, BNR reports.

Lyudmil Yotsov has been elected executive director of the company - in place of Nikolay Pavlov, according to a protocol of BEH, published in the Commercial Register.

Energy Minister Andrei Zhivkov asked the Bulgarian Energy Holding (BEH) to remove the management of Bulgartransgaz after an inquiry by the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) confirmed Energy Ministry conclusions about ineffective management of the natural gas transmission company.

The topic is discussed by the energy expert Vasko Nachev and the chairman of the Bulgarian Energy and Mining Forum Ivan Hinovski.

The European Commission has fined Bulgarian Energy Holding (BEH), its gas supply subsidiary Bulgargaz and its gas infrastructure subsidiary Bulgartransgaz (the BEH group) more than 77 million euro for blocking competitors' access to key gas infrastructure in Bulgaria, in breach of EU antitrust rules, reported the Bulgarian National Radio.

SOFIA (Bulgaria), August 3 (SeeNews) - The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has invested 100 million euro ($115.9 million) in the seven-year, 550 million euro senior unsecured bond issue of state-owned Bulgarian Energy Holding (BEH), the bank said on Friday.

The Bulgarian Energy Holding is in the final stages of taking commitments regarding the BEH Gas case. To this end, the Parliament will instruct the Energy Minister Temenuja Petkova to take the necessary actions to reach an agreement with the European Commission's case BEH gas.
