Momirovic: Talks on Serbia-UAE FTA have begun
DUBAI - Serbian Minister of Internal and External Trade Tomislav Momirovic said on Monday Serbia had signed a strategic document with the UAE that marked the start of talks on a FTA between the two countries.
"Talks about a UAE-Serbia FTA have formally begun with the signing of this strategic document," said Momirovic, who signed the document on behalf of the Serbian government.

Arabs to buy faltering Serbian agriculture giant
Al Dahra bought to company with a EUR 105 million bid, Beta reported.
Ahe financial offer of Al Dahra, whose mother company is based in the United Arab Emirates, was opened by the PKB sales commission, which ruled that it met the conditions of the tender.
Al Dahra's was the sole bid.

Arabs eyeing 20,000 hectares of land in Serbia
Al Dahra plans to allocate millions of dollars this year to improve food safety. In Serbia alone they want to buy as many as 20,000 hectares of land.
The Arabs plan to spend about 130 million this year to buy arable land around the world and invest in projects that ensure greater food safety, according to Al Dahra's Managing Director Khadim Al Darei.

Al Dahra's stake in Rudnap chance for Serbian agriculture
BELGRADE - The sale of a 51-percent stake in Rudnap agrar to the Al Dahra company is a great chance for Serbia's agriculture, Rudnap Group owner Vojin Lazarevic has said.
"This may be the first, but definitely not the only Al Dahra activity in the Serbian market, and the same applies to other companies from the United Arab Emirates," Lazarevic told Tanjug.
