Mali: Around 20 new institutions, investors, seeking cooperation with Serbia

MARRAKESH - Serbian Deputy PM and Finance Minister Sinisa Mali said on Thursday Serbia had presented itself in the right way to investors at the International Monetary Fund-World Bank annual meetings in Marrakesh and that his meeting with Bank of America representatives had been attended by around 20 new financial institutions interested in investing in and cooperating with Serbia.

MARRAKESH - Serbian Deputy PM and Finance Minister Sinisa Mali said on Wednesday he had had excellent meetings with high-ranking officials of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank as part of his attendance at the WB-IMF Annual Meetings in Marrakesh.

He said the IMF and the WB had recognised the results achieved by Serbia.

MARRAKESH - A Serbian delegation headed by National Bank of Serbia (NBS) Governor Jorgovanka Tabakovic and Finance Minister Sinisa Mali will attend the Annual Meetings of the Board of Governors of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank Group, held from October 9 through 15 in Marrakesh, Morocco.

Greece to repatriate 100 citizens from Morocco, says ministry

One hundred Greeks who were holidaying in Morocco will be repatriated later on Wednesday on an Aegean Airlines flight  from Marrakesh, the Foreign Ministry said in a press release Wednesday.

The repatriation followed a phone call between Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias and his Moroccan counterpart Nasser Bourita on Tuesday, it added.

 

UN members adopt global migration pact, Moroccan host says

A majority of United Nations states adopted on Monday a non-binding global pact to better handle migrant flows, Morocco's foreign minister said, though fewer governments joined than had previously worked on the proposal.

Moroccan foreign minister Nasser Bourita announced the decision as host of the UN conference in Marrakesh. There was no formal vote.
