The weather forecast for October 18 in Bulgaria indicates mostly sunny conditions across the country, according to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology. Winds will be light to moderate from the east, with a strong northerly wind expected in Eastern Bulgaria. Morning temperatures will range from -2°C to 3°C, with Sofia experiencing a low of around 0°C.

On October 17, Bulgaria will experience predominantly sunny weather, according to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology. However, cloud cover will be more prominent in the northeast, extending to central regions by midday, and gradually clearing towards the evening.

Clear skies and sunny weather are on the horizon for the country until the weekend, but meteorologists warn that rain is set to return shortly thereafter.

In its weekly report outlining conditions until Oct. 14, the Turkish State Meteorological Service expects a brief break from the recent rainfall, particularly in the northeastern cities, which saw downpours on Oct. 8.

Greece is set to experience an "Indian Summer" or "Saint Demetrius' Summer" this October, according to the director of the National Meteorological Service, Theodoros Kolydas. 

In a social media post, Kolydas explained that while October is usually a transitional month, it will be marked by warm, dry weather.

A storm system named Cassandra is expected to affect western Greece on Friday, bringing clouds, rain, and isolated thunderstorms, according to a bulletin from the National Meteorological Service (EMY).

The severe weather is expected to ease by nighttime.

The weather forecast for October 3 in Bulgaria indicates mostly sunny conditions, with high clouds expected in the northwestern regions and medium clouds developing later in the day, according to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology. A mild southerly wind will prevail, with temperatures reaching between 23°C and 28°C, and around 25°C in Sofia.

This week, significant warming is anticipated, with temperatures expected to reach between 28 and 30 degrees Celsius, according to weather forecaster Anastasia Stoycheva from the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology.

Weather is forecast today in the Ionian Sea and Epirus until the afternoon, while in the rest of Greece cloudy with a chance of rain is expected in the west and north at noon. Although cloudy, the weather will resemble summer with temperatures exceeding 30 degrees and continuing their upward trend until Sunday.

A summer-like weather pattern is expected starting Friday, as temperatures will exceed 34 degrees Celsius; however, this warm spell will be followed by a cold air mass on Sunday, bringing a drop in temperatures.

In a post today on X, meteorologist Thodoris Kolyda noted:

Temperatures will gradually rise through the end of the week. According to the latest forecast data from meteo.gr / National Observatory of Athens, during the next few days the atmospheric circulation will favor the transfer of warm air masses towards our country.
