Revered American novelist, dies at 89
Celebrated author Cormac McCarthy, an unflinching chronicler of America's bleak frontiers and grim underbelly, died on June 13 aged 89, his publisher said.
The Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist who wrote "The Road" and "No Country for Old Men" - both of which became feature films - passed away at his home in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

This happened during the filming of the western "Rust" near the city of Santa Fe. Baldwin is also the producer of the film in which he plays.
Suspect in Santa Fe school shooting of Greek extraction
The suspect in a deadly high school shooting in Santa Fe, Texas, which has so far left at least 10 people dead has been identified as a 17-year-old of Greek extraction, according to news agencies.
Authorities have reportedly detained two people, one of which is Dimitrios Pagourtzis, believed to be a student at the school.
