14 hospitalized after suspected carbon monoxide leak in northern Greece hotel

Fourteen people exhibited symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning on Sunday morning at a hotel in the village of Limnochori, Florina, in northern Greece.

According to local reports, all 14 individuals, some of whom were unconscious, were transported to hospital with respiratory issues, likely due to a carbon monoxide leak from the hotel's heating system.

Man dies of carbon monoxide poisoning in Rhodes

A foreign national died on the island of Rhodes on Tuesday, with initial indications pointing to carbon monoxide poisoning, state-run news agency reported.

The man was living with two other foreigners in an old house in the district of Aghii Anargyri in the city of Rhodes with no electricity and had to use makeshift stoves to stay warm.

Migrant found dead in Moria camp

A 24-year-old man from Cameroon was found dead inside the Moria migrant camp on the eastern Aegean island of Lesvos early Tuesday morning, according to state-run news agency ANA-MPA.

The migrant was reportedly found by his friends at 2 a.m. His body was transferred to the hospital in Mytilene where doctors confirmed his death.

2 mine workers die after carbon monoxide poisoning in Turkey's Gümüşhane

Two workers have died and four others have been taken to hospital due to carbon monoxide poisoning in a mine in the Black Sea province of Gümüşhane, state-run Anadolu Agency reported early on July 16.  

Gümüşhane Governor Okay Memiş told reporters that the four workers were provided with outpatient treatment at a state hospital in the district of Kelkit.
