Low cost airline Wizz Air said it is planning for the easing of travel restrictions by starting new routes from Britain's London Luton airport to holiday destinations in Portugal from 16 June and to Greece from July.

Ryanair has been threatened with legal action for "persistently misleading" passengers about their rights following thousands of flight cancellations, BBC writes. 

The Civil Aviation Authority said it had launched "enforcement action" against Ryanair, the first step towards court action.

A bomb threat on a plane which was about to leave Faro airport in Portugal’s southern region of Algarve for Lisbon was evacuated early on Tuesday, a spokesman for the country’s flag carrier TAP said.
