Tickets to the 25th edition of the George Enescu Music Festival go on sale today at noon, organisers announce in a press statement. Tickets will become available on www.eventim.ro and at a special point of sale to be set up at the Romanian Athenaeum.
Romanian Valentin Serban wins 1st Prize at George Enescu International Violin Competition
Romanian violinist Valentin Serban won the First Prize of the George Enescu International Music Competition - Violin section, having performed in the final Jan Sibelius' Violin Concerto in D minor, Op. 47, accompanied by the George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra led by well-known conductor Wilson Hermanto.

NOVI SAD - The Novi Sad Music Festivities - NOMUS opened by the performance of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra headed by violinist Dmitry Sitkovetsky.
The Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra performed in the Novi Sad Synagogue late on Thursday.

Violinist, conductor Sitkovetsky in Belgrade on Friday
BELGRADE - Violinist and conductor Dmitry Sitkovetsky will perform in both roles with the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra at the start of the Novi Sad Music Festival on Thursday and at the Kolarac Foundation in Belgrade on Friday.
This will be Sitkovetsky's fourth visit to Serbia, but his first performance accompanied by the Belgrade Philharmonic.
