Driver injured after fire engine topples
The driver of a fire engine was injured on Thursday after the vehicle overturned while operating in central Evia.
According to information from the Fire Department, the fire engine fell into a side slope on its way to extinguish the fire raging in the area of Pissonas since Wednesday.
The driver was collected by an ambulance.

Wildfire breaks out on Andros
A wildfire broke out shortly after noon on the island of Andros in the Strapouries area and residents have been urged to evacuate the area.
A team of six firefighters with two tenders, assisted by two aircraft and two helicopters, are attending the scene.
The fire service said a fire that broke out earlier on Salamina is now partially under control.

Battle against Pierian Mountains wildfire enters fourth day
Crews continued to battle a wildfire in the Pierian Mountains of the central Macedonia region for the fourth consecutive day on Wednesday.
The firefighting operation comprises 36 fire engines manned by a crew of 150 members, along with nine teams of firefighters on foot, supplemented by two water-dropping helicopters.
