Greece, already eliminated from the FIBA World Cup quarterfinals, ended its campaign Sunday with a 73-69 loss to Montenegro.

With the loss, Greece (2-3) finished last in Group J, the Round of 16 group. Lithuania and the USA, who were to play later Sunday, have already made the quarterfinals.

Greece's national basketball team began its World Cup campaign with an easy 85-60 victory over Montenegro in Nanjing, China.

Greece opened a 42-16 lead at halftime and cruised from there.

Veteran forward Giorgos Printezis led Greece with 16 points.

Greece's superstar, reigning NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, had 10 points in 16 minutes.

Playing in his first game for the New Orleans Pelicans, Turkish center Ömer Aşık helped his side grab a 101-84 win Oct. 28 against the Orlando Magic by scoring 14 points on 7-of-10 shooting, grabbing 17 rebounds and blocking five shots.
