Collective centers for refugees and IDPs to be closed
17 remaining collective centers will be closed, Assistant Commissioner for Refugees and Migration Danijela Popovic Rocco said on Friday.
These centers now accommodate around 1,000 refugees from the territory of the former Yugoslavia (SFRY) and internally displaced persons (IDPs) from Kosovo and Metohija.
530,000 migrants passed through Belgrade - city official
A city official in charge of refugees, IDPs and migrations has said that more than 530,000 migrants have passed through Belgrade to date.
According to Dusica Popovic, beside these migrants coming from the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, there are also 59,000 internally displaced persons (IDPs) currently in the Serbian capital, as well as 9,000 refugees from Bosnia and Croatia.
Djuric: Few returnees in Kosovo-Metohija
SKOPJE - A very small number of internally displaced persons (IDPs) returned to the southern Serbian province in the past 15 years, Director of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija Marko Djuric warned during the two-day regional conference in Skopje.
